I love this sweater and for the longest time, I had no idea what color to wear under it. Then, it hit me one day, DUH! Black.
I got the infinity scarf for Christmas and I would like to wear it with everything. Since that isn't feasible, I put it with this outfit.
UNFORTUNATELY, my favorite part of the outfit was the grey booties I wore with my skinny jeans. But, when your husband is your photographer sometimes key pieces get cut from the photo. He doesn't understand the crucial importance of my booties. (oh well better luck next time).
Sweater: Old Navy (old)
Black tank: Old Navy here
Black Infinity Scarf: J Crew Factory
Denim Leggings: Target (old)
My bracelets are from A Tad Monroe. You can't see them well in these pics, so I added a close-up. I love this site, you should check them out here
These booties are very similar to the ones I was wearing that you can't see :(
How are you wearing black these days?
Love that look!!
ReplyDeletethis outfit is sooo cute!!
ReplyDeletethanks so much for linking up!
Oh dang....those husbands really don't understand the importance of seeing the entire outfit!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute one, though. I'm also a big fan of a black wardrobe :-)
I know, I know. I tried to tell him about the importance of shoes, but I don't think it really set in. Oh well!
DeleteI know what you mean about the hubby taking photos. They just don't understand the importance of the shoes too :) Either way, you look cute and I love anything leopard. I like color, but it's nice to bust out the neutrals every now and then. Heather
ReplyDeleteThank you! I like leopard in any form too. Thanks for stopping by :)
DeleteBlack is my neutral of choice; I have to concentrate to NOT wear some black just about every day. I can do it, sometimes, but it doesn't come easily. This outfit is very much the kind of thing I wear when I am running short on time to think too much about my outfit. It looks great, sharp, and pulled together, all while being comfortable and not at all dull. Great job!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's an ensemble of my favorite neutrals :) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteHey Rebecca, it's Denise from A Tad Monroe. Thanks for the bracelet LOVE and I am lovin the blog!
ReplyDeleteHey Denise, thanks for stopping by! I'm glad you like the blog and OF COURSE I had to tell the world about my A Tad Monroe love.
DeleteLol.. Husband always are the worst photographers!! Maybe time to invest in a tripod and use the timer on the camera. Chris , ALWAYS cuts off everyone at the knees or the shoulders, or is zoom so far we look like ants in the middle of the photo! Love the booties!!
ReplyDeleteIt must be universal! He is doing better, but the tripod might be a good investment. I love the booties too, I need about 10 more :)
