Keeneland Picks

I seriously had THE best weekend over the last couple of days. I went to Keeneland with my husband and his family. For those of you who aren't from the south, that's a horse race track in Kentucky. 

What you wear to Keeneland is kind of a big deal.

I put together my three favorite Keeneland looks I saw this weekend.

I loved all of the chevron I was seeing. It is definitely my favorite pattern right now. Mixed with some bright colors, it's a great spring look. I also fell in love with some cap toe shoes a girl was wearing sitting close to me. I'm thinkin' I need  pair.

I also have a new found love for clutches and messenger bags. This is coming from a girl who has a suitcase for a purse (not really, but seriously), BUT I think these little guys are so dainty.

If you saw my birthday wishlist, you know I'm really wanting a cute maxi dress right now. I was too chicken to wear one to Keeneland last year, because the shorter dress is usually what the ladies wear. I'm excited because I saw several maxi dresses this year. I love this one with a white blazer. Oh, and Tory Burch earrings? NEED.

I'm kind of partial to this casual look, because it is similar to the look I was sporting this weekend. I love the pastel Ralph Lauren Polo oxford shirts. They are only $39.99 at the outlet right now. With the boots you may or may not look like you are trying to impersonate a jockey, but at least you are doing it in style, right?
