Electric Blue & Black

I've been checking into spring 2013 trends for a bit now. Probably a little premature but, I did a little spring shopping early. Some of my favorite trends I keep seeing are the bold colors. I'm gonna have to say that electric blue is rockin' my world.

Now don't get me wrong, I live and die by my varying pink hues. BUT electric blue has got it goin' on (kind of like Stacy's mom. I'm sorry, forgive me for that. Lame doesn't cover that joke).

ANYWAY. As usual, I put my little fingers to polyvore and came up with a couple dressier electric blue looks. I think it's pretty versatile too. You can wear it as a very dressy/elegant look or make it more rocker chic. My look was dressy, my polyvore looks were a little combo of both.

My favorite part of this one? I LOVE to pair it with black. How long has blue and black been a fashion crime? Sorry, that's stupid. These blue/black combo's look like perfection to me.

Had to add the stud nails in there for effect. Wouldn't they look great with the heels?

Silver accessories had to supersede the gold on this one occasion, I think they look great with it.

Blue Skirt: Belk

Heels: Target (mossimo)

Necklace: Forever 21 (ancient)

Now, once again, I bout this little gem (my skirt) from Belk on clearance. It was a whopping $10. Belk, where I live never has squat. For some reason on this one day they had like 5 things on clearance that were superb.

I'm thinking these wont be the last pictures you see with electric blue, I'm lovin' it.


P.S. I know my pictures are all in one spot, literally. I'm working on that.
