High Five for Friday: March Edition

There are no words to share my excitement that it's Friday AND March. This means spring and one month closer to finishing grad school.

So...in lieu of our Friday celebration I have a couple weekly thoughts to share.

First, the childish dinner my husband and I shared while watching the UK game this week. No, I'm not that excited about a pretzel and some pizza rolls, but isn't it nice to just keep it simple sometimes? Some of our favorite time spent together has nothing to do with getting dressed up and going out, but enjoying more "simple" time at home together. Plus, Kentucky has stepped it up lately, go Cats!!!

Second, my unintentional "I'm not amused" selfie I took this week. I've been trying to decide if my super oily hair can handle going at least a day without being washed. I'm still undecided. What do you do? I think I'm in the minority of every day hair washers.

Finally, I leave you with this awesome quote. It's from Hoda Kotb's Instagram (she's a favorite of mine). I have this on my phone so I can remind myself of this daily. Sometimes I get caught up in my perfectionism and cringe when I make a mistake. It's all about accepting the constructive criticism people.

How was your week? Happy Friday!!

  1. I only wash my hair every other day. It somehow works better that way. And goodness your hair is gorgeous with those curls!! What kind of curling iron do you use?

  5. My hair gets super greasy too. I had to wash it every day until I started using Suave dry shampoo. It comes in a gold spray can and is around $2 at Walmart. It is amazing, smells good, and gives your hair great volume too. I even use it on days when I wash my hair at night and it is a little greasy/flat in the morning.
