Maroon and Leopard

I hope you all are having a great start to the new year. I didn't really make a list of resolutions this year, but I do have a few things in mind that I definitely need to focus on this year. One of those things is sticking with a stricter budget. A CLOTHING budget in particular. I've got to cut down the spending in that category.

SO...I've decided to try and make the most of what I have in my closet. Of course, I have had to make a few additions in preparation for spring :) So glad for the gift cards I got at Christmas time. I tried to think SPRING when I went shopping.

So, I've had this leopard print shirt from Old Navy for a long time now. I've tried it with a few things but I never could find anything great to wear with this shirt. My lightbulb came on this time when trying to pair it with something already in my closet. I put it with a maroon boyfriend cardigan I got at TJ Maxx a few months ago.

and... I'm loving the brown and maroon combination.

I put together some brown/maroon/leopard looks on polyvore that I liked for you :)

And then my outfit..

Cardigan: TJ Maxx
Leopard top: Old Navy
Necklace: Belk
Belt: Steve Madden
Denim: Forever 21
Booties: Guess
Also, in case it isn't painfully obvious, I don't have a fancy camera. I have an old digital camera with a dying battery because I can't find the charger. So my iPhone will have to serve the purpose for the time being!

I love these booties. They are Guess and I got them at TJ Maxx on clearance

I also had to do a close up of the Arm party because I'm still not over that yet :)
I added a Black and Gold Lilly Pulitzer bangle to the party, a gift from my Aunt for Christmas. Yes!

Hope you all have a great week :)
